Crafting has always been a part of my life. Since I was young my parents fostered a love of the arts in my life. I started crocheting after being gifted the supplies as a Christmas gift when I was around 11-12. Even though I didn’t have anyone to teach me, I picked it up fast and made it up as I went. During that age I engaged in many art forms, crocheting was always the one I could do while being around friends and family.

Life had gotten in the way though so I stopped crocheting for around 4 years. During the pandemic I picked it back up again in a moment of frustration and boredom. I challenged myself to learn how to read patterns and create new ones. This flourished in a way I would never have expected. My husband and family encouraged me, giving me the confidence to sell online and at community events.
